ListKart is your smart, privacy-first companion for organized shopping. It replaces messy paper lists with a clean, digital experience that helps you shop faster and smarter.

📱 How to Use ListKart
1. How to Create a New List
Creating a list is super easy:
- Open the app and tap the big "+" (Plus) button on the home screen.
- Give your list a name (e.g., "Grocery", "Weekend Party").
- Tap "Create". That’s it! Your new list is ready.
2. How to Add Items to a List
We offer three fast ways to add items:
- Type it: Open your list, tap the input box at the bottom, type the item name (like "Milk"), and hit Enter.
- Scan it: Tap the Scanner Icon 📷 next to the input box. You can scan a handwritten or printed list to instantly create your digital list!
- Say it: Tap the Microphone Icon 🎙️ and just speak your items. You can say multiple things at once like "Apples, Bread, and Cheese", and we’ll add them all separately.
3. How to Share a List
Collaborate with family or friends in seconds:
- Open the list you want to share.
- Tap the 3-Dots Menu (at the top right corner).
- Select "Share". This will generate a unique link for your list.
- Send this link via WhatsApp, SMS, or Email. When your friends click it, they can view or import the list.
🔒 Privacy & Data (Best in Class)
Q: Do you track what I buy or my shopping habits?
A: Absolutely NOT. We do not track, analyze, or even see what you
buy. Your shopping lists are yours alone. Unlike other apps, we don't build a profile of your habits
to sell to advertisers.
Q: Do I need to create an account to use the app?
A: No. You can use all features of ListKart without ever creating
an account. This guarantees your complete anonymity. We don't ask for your email,
phone number, or social media login, so we have no way to link your data to "you".
Q: Is there a "hidden profile" of me?
A: None. Since there is no login and no account, there is
technically no way for us to build a profile on you. You are completely invisible to us.
Q: What happens when I share a list?
A: When you share a list, only that specific list is uploaded
securely to allow your friends to see it. It is not linked to any personal identity
or profile. Once the sharing purpose is done, it remains just a piece of data without an
owner.
Q: Is my personal data safe?
A: Yes. Your data primarily lives locally on your
device. This is the safest place for it. We don't store your personal library on our
servers, so it can't be leaked or stolen from us.
Q: Why does the app need camera access?
A: We only use the camera to scan text from physical lists to help
you digitize them quickly. We never record, save, or transmit any video or images
from your camera. It is strictly for local processing.
Q: Do you sell my data to advertisers?
A: No, never. We built ListKart to be a tool for you, not
a data collection tool for us. We do not sell any data to third parties.
Q: Can I use the app offline?
A: Yes! ListKart is designed to be offline-first. You can do
everything without internet. Internet is only used if you explicitly choose to share a list or give
feedback.
Q: How do I delete my data?
A: Since your data is on your phone, you have full control. Uninstalling
the app or clearing its data permanently wipes everything. We hold nothing back.
