What is ListKart?
ListKart is an ultra-fast, privacy-first smart shopping list app. It replaces your notes app and paper lists with a dedicated interface built specifically for grocery runs and household organization.
Is ListKart really free?
Yes, ListKart is 100% free with no annoying ads or hidden subscriptions. It was built by a solo developer as an essential utility for everyone.
Do I need to create an account?
No registration is required. You can download and start using all features immediately without giving away your personal details.
Which devices are supported?
ListKart is available on Android via the Play Store and can be accessed as a web-app on iOS and Desktop. We are focused on a smooth experience across all screen sizes.
Using the App
How do I add items quickly?
Tap the input field to type, use the **Mic icon** for voice entry (you can say multiple items at once!), or use the **Barcode scanner** for branded products.
How does "Smart Sorting" work?
As you add items, ListKart automatically groups them by aisles (e.g., Dairy, Produce, Bakery). This saves you time by preventing you from walking back and forth through the store.
Can I manage multiple lists at once?
Absolutely. Use the sidebar to create separate lists for "Groceries," "Travel Pack," "Wishlist," or different stores like "IKEA" vs. "Costco."
Collaboration & Syncing
How do I sync my list with my family?
Inside any list, tap the **Share Icon**. Send the invite link to your partner or family. Whenever they add or check off an item, it will update on your screen instantly.
What if I'm shopping and my partner adds an item?
It will appear on your list in real-time. This prevents the "forgot the milk" scenario and saves you an extra trip to the store.
Privacy & Offline Mode
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. You can manage your lists completely offline inside the store. Once you get back on Wi-Fi or Data, your shared lists will sync with your family automatically.
Where is my data stored?
Most of your data lives locally on your device for maximum speed and privacy. Only the lists you choose to share are securely synced through our encrypted cloud backend.

Which languages are supported?
ListKart speaks your language! We currently support **53+ languages**, including Hindi, Bengali, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, and many more regional languages.
